Fatima Cervantes, LCSW

Fatima Cervantes, LCSW (99162) is a bilingual, Latina psychotherapist and proud Los Angeles native. She received her master's degree from UCLA's graduate school of social work and has experience working in community mental health, maternal mental health, and with forensic populations.

Her transparent and collaborative approach integrates parts work and somatic therapy interventions into her work with the center. She is passionate about placing mental health in socio-political context, considering the societal and environmental influences as well as personal factors in therapy. In addition to her clinical work at the center, Fatima coordinates clinical programming for our Community Access Fund, Clinical Fellowship program and our forthcoming MDMA-Assisted Therapy offerings (pending FDA approval in late 2024).

Beyond her practice, Fatima loves nature and movement, recognizing their impact on mental well-being.
