What is psychotherapy?

Psychotherapy can facilitate emotional intelligence, healthy communication and relationships and personal growth and self awareness.  Psychotherapy at the California Center for Psychedelic Therapy is an interpersonal way to treat depression, PTSD, bipolar depression, anxiety, OCD and other mental health concerns. We take a relational, transpersonal and inner-directed approach to mental health care, recognizing that identities and egos aren’t the entire picture of your existence.

At the California Center for Psychedelic Therapy, our clinical team supports you in creating space for the change you want to see in your life using a dynamic, integrative and collaborative approach to psychotherapy.

Symptoms of mental health challenges may include ongoing sadness, continuous worry or fear, suicidal thoughts, sleep disruptions or relationship and spiritual challenges that negatively impact your daily life.

You might experience a loss of interest in favorite activities, substance misuse, nightmares, flashbacks, social isolation, obsessions, or compulsions.  Maybe you just feel off day after day, but can't determine any reason why you're not thriving.

Psychotherapy helps you increase self-awareness, develop emotional intelligence, accept deeper meaning and recognize your inherent healing power.
